Is this the start of the Indian Summer that we have been promised in the UK?
I had just taken Shannon to work, and was about ot go home to slog away at the computer working on stuff for our wedding photography business, when i had this sudden urge to visit Erddig, Wrexham, acclaimed as one of Britains finest historic houses. Its an 18th century country house set in a formal garden and romantic park.
The sun had been up for about an hour more or less, so i was able to still capture some of its warm early moring glow, which gives everything that golden yellow cast.
Its a beautiful pastoral landscape, in which, as i crossed the fields, sheep departed majestically to clear a path way, but the cows i encountered were really curious as to what i was up to, as they came to drink from a stream at the bottom of the field.
I did make friends with them, they let me storke them after a bit of deliberation, one of them was intrigued as to what i might taste like, and so licked my hand with his huge tongue, very raspy feeling it was too.
Anyway here are some pictures, enjoy.
