Olympic Torch in Chester.

The Olympic Torch  arrived in the city of Chester today, 29/05/12.
Starting off from Bangor, north Wales earlier in the morning.
It made its way through Beaumaris, Conwy, it scaled mount Snowdon, Wales highest peak,
 Deganwy, Llandudno, Penrhyn Bay,
Rhos on Sea, Old Colwyn, Abergele, Towyn, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, Rhuddlan, Connahs Quay, Shotton,
Queensferry, Hawarden, Saltney into Chester City.
It will continue on its journey from Chester, at 7.56am local time.
back into Wales, Wrexham and surrounding towns, before heading back into England, Shropshire.

Young Firefighters Association Drill Competition.

Sunday May 20th. At West Hartford Fire Station.
Teams from Hexham, Berwick, Amble, Wooler, Pegswood, West Hartford, Amble and Alnwick
took part in the Young Firefighters Association Drill Competition.
We were blessed with wonderful weather, a good turn out of family, friends and visitors.
The young people taking part may one day, become professional firefighters and protection engineers,
working for Northumberland Fire and Rescue Services.
