National Trust Wimpole Hall

When i visited this beautiful property in Royston, Cambridgeshire, i was delighted to find out that i could take photographs inside, as long as i did not use flash,
So, upping the ISO to various speeds, from 1600 through to 3200 and everything in between, i decided not to photograph the rooms as a whole, but to concentrate on the finer details of the decor, the ornaments, the art work, the picture frames, the fabrics and door handles etc.
Intimate rooms contrast with beautiful Georgian interiors.
Hope you enjoy these soft focus natural light images.
No colour correction has been made, the warm glow of the lamps, along with natural window light,  give the images a romantic feel.
But first a few images of the building form outside.
With its beautiful parterre garden and pleasure grounds.
Set in a landscape park.

Some interors images.
